About QR Tags

You’ve seen them but may not have known what they are or what they’re used for. QR tags are two-dimensional “bar codes” that can contain relatively large amounts of data. A standard bar code, such as the familiar UPC codes on product packaging, can encode perhaps a couple dozen characters at most.
By contrast, some QR tags can hold over 4,000 characters. The most common sizes can hold from around 75 to about 400 characters.
